The cognitive development is ensured in accordance with the modern pedagogical theories. In the pre-primary, reading and speaking take the pivotal position. For reading, an eclectic approach is undertaken using both the phonic and sight-reading methodologies.
In the higher classes, higher level thinking skill is focussed along with the lower level thinking skills. All intelligences are incorporated in the instructional planning in order to accommodate learners with different learning styles.
In the lower classes, the students are provided with opportunities to work and refine their gross and fine motor skills. Several per-writing activities are administrated. Exercise and play are considered as a regular part of school life.
In the Pre-primary classes an integrated curriculum is used. All learning areas, namely, social emotional, language, scientific development, mathematical development, physical development and morals are covered around the selected themes.
